On Thursday, Johnson & Johnson admitted "We did not maintain our high quality standards."Chief Executive William C. Weldon said, "Children do not have access to our important medicines."Weldon stated to the congressional committee that Johnson & Johnson is spending $100 million to resolve quality problems that led to last spring's recall of children's over-the-counter medications, which included children's Tylenol. Weldon also acknowledged mishandling two other recalls at McNeil Consumer Healthcare subsidiary. Johnson and Johnson is taking full responsibility and accountability for this recall and their actions.
