Terrorism Alert Issued for American Citizens Traveling to Europe

The State Department told American citizens to be cautious about traveling to Europe today. There is a concern about terrorist attacks and Al Quaeda is being named as a source of concern. In the meantime, the British Government raised the threat of terrorism from "high" to "general" in France and Germany. The decision to warn travelers in Europe, is due to the United States accessing intelligence pertaining plots in North Africa and Pakistan. It is being reported that these plots are aimed at Germany, France, and Britain.
