Stephen Baldwin has filed a lawsuit against Kevin Costner for allegedly tricking him into selling his shares in a company that builds a machine separating oil from water.Stephen alleges that he became a 10 per cent partner in an invention backed by Costner to help clean up the oil disaster in the Gulf.
The lawsuit, filed in Louisiana federal court, states that Costner gave the appearance of selling his company shares while still being largely invested in the company. According to the reports, Alec Baldwin also claimed that he was duped into selling his shares so that Costner could reap a larger profit from a deal with BP, worth more than $52 million.
