AMC Decides to Cancel 'The Killing' Again


The Killing has been canceled by AMC again following its third season. "We have made the difficult decision not to move forward with a fourth season of The Killing," AMC said in a statement on Tuesday. "We want to thank our great partners at Fox Television Studios, creator Veena Sud, an extraordinary cast and the dedicated fans who watched."

The Killing Sets Season 3 Premiere Date



Season 3 will debut on Sunday, June 2 at 8 p.m. with a two-hour premiere.
The drama series stars Mireille Enos (Sarah Linden) and Joel Kinnaman (Stephen Holder) along with new cast members Peter Sarsgaard, Elias Koteas and Amy Seimetz. The series will pick up a year after the close of the Rosie Larsen case with Sarah no longer working as a detective.When her ex-partner Stephen’s search for a runaway girl leads him to discover a gruesome string of murders that connects to one of her previous murder investigations, she is drawn back into the job.

The Killing Returns for a Third Season!


It's finally happening! The Killing is returning for a third season, AMC and Fox Television Studios announced on Tuesday. Executive producer Veena Sud and actors Mireille Enos and Joel Kinnaman are returning to the series. Season 3 is set to begin production February 25 in Vancouver, Canada, and there will be 12 episodes in the season. Season 3 is bringing a new mystery to viewers! The show will open a year after the season two finale, which solved the Rosie Larsen case."I couldn't be happier to know that I will be returning to work with AMC, FTVS and Mireille and Joel on what is and has always been a passion project for me," Sud said in a statement. "To the fans that have supported the series, thank you for doing so. My team and I will work hard to deliver the best story that we can for season three."
