Reese Witherspoon and Jim Toth were arrested and jailed early Friday morning in Atlanta for an alleged DUI and disorderly conduct. According to the police report, Witherspoon's husband was pulled over under suspicion of driving while intoxicated after weaving across a double line. Meanwhile, the actress was arrested for disorderly conduct. Witherspoon was arrested after disobeying repeated instruction from the arresting officer to stay inside the vehicle.
"Mrs. Witherspoon began to hang out the window and say that she did not believe that I was a real police officer," according to the report. "I told Mrs. Witherspoon to sit on her butt and be quiet." The report went on to state, "Mrs. Witherspoon asked, 'Do you know my name?' I answered, 'No, I don't need to know your name.' I then added, 'Right now.' Mrs. Witherspoon stated, 'You're about to find out who I am'." The couple was released on bond around 3:30 a.m. Friday.
